sara from messy girl was pretty much my first pgk i missed out on, didn't discover her until just before she retired mrs. bee also had a really interesting tumblr site (get well)
My old friends Hurley Coward and Rob Blaine, both of whom I spent hours conversing on the phone with about scenes of women getting pied and messy in the early 1990s. Hurley vigorously pursued pie clips and developed an amazing collection of pie clip tapes, with the help of his 'pie mafia', of which I was an active member. Rob was a trailblazer in WAM Production and was a really nice accessible person, who helped me to see the normalcy in having a fetish. We spent hours discussing the psychology of WAM and what makes a scene good for us personally. Rob preferred mud and women with long messy hair. We lost Rob way too early and I lost touch with Hurley and don't know how he is or if he is still alive.
I'm probably a parrot here, but Mud Bunny was one of the GOATs of the WAM/QS community. What makes it a double bummer is that she had a bunch of stuff in the content pipeline that was teased and was never fully released/we never got to see. I understand tho if life changes forced her and her partner's hand to close shop, and I hope both of them are doing well for themselves, but they will always be missed as you could tell she was genuinely into this shit, which made her stuff 10x hotter!
Also, I'm gonna miss Mud Puddle Visuals creating new content, as they were on of the mud/QS pioneers, but most of all because Summer Monroe was one of their best models/accesses. The bit from her brief interview in the VICE quicksand fetish documentary video where she explains why she loves doing it - saying how she gets a rush from "dying" and getting to come back from it - lives rent free in my mind as proof she was one of the GOATs as well, fully understanding this weird fetish, being able to pull it off with flying colors, and get something out of it herself in the process.
TLDR, there's nothing better than someone who's great at their job and loves doing it, either in the world of WAM or any profession in life.
Like several of you, those I miss include especially Sweetsophie, Messy Jessie, many Mostwam girls such as Rhian, Amber, Lucy, Poppy - and of course Fawn and Paris from WAMF. I'd include Kacie James too except that she hasn't really disappeared, she's just not very visible on here!
There are so many but Entropy and Messy Mia are two that come to mind right away for me. I managed to buy some of Enropy's vids before his store closed so that's nice at least. Messy Mia is so sad for me though because I remember her YouTube channel used to be some of the first results for WAM-related content back around 2015-16, but at the time, I didn't really like her vids for some reason. But now, with her channel gone, I really wish I could see her vids agin...
Lycrastee. Cute guy (like many male WAM models) but he was friendly, supported non-models like me and didn't seem to have a big ego. Seemed like a nice, down to earth bloke.

Sweetsophie has to be one of the most prolific creators of the early wam scene.
sweet sophie is one of the first people i noticed on the wam scene when i came here. She always did her scenes in a tub but always dressed cute...she always used gunge but changed it up...she was just really great at it! I got the opportunity to meet norman....I hate that he has passed away as his presence was really upbeat and bright around here. I miss it.....and him. deffo mudbunny. maaan, I would anxiously await everytime they had something new and they always created something different. they didnt just do mud. It was fun to watch. They always stuck to what they wanted to do...and it was fantastic. and my heart just BREAKS that ariel is gone. What a TRUE wammer that brought such a shining light to the community. lol maybe if i say that? She will let me put back up my videos that I OWN AND I SHOT AND ARE MY PROPERTY! *singing* "wouldn't it be nice....."
haha!
but yeah, and I am just now hearing about mrs bee! oh my goodness! Lots of prayers, good vibes and love sent her way! I cannot imagine how scary that must be. she is a tough woman, though. Has always seemed to be. My thoughts and prayers are with her and her family. love you, mrs. bee!

The 2010s was early wam scene? I feel old...
Perhaps I should have said the online wam scene, I think it was probably between 2005 to 2010 where the online wam scen became more like what we know now. Before that it was more fragmented with lots of yahoo groups and forums. I remember having to download videos as winrar files and having to wait 24 hours before downloading another. It's amazing to see how far we've come.

It is interesting the people she sent cease and desist to and those she did not and the sites still selling videos with her in them. I wonder if you made them available for a site that was only subscribed to by fans of yours if she would find out and if there would be an issue.
Lots of mentions of retired models who aren't necessarily wammers (I really fancied 'Von' who shot for Noise and the Kowalskis in about 2007), but I'm struck the people who have passed away who I never spoke to, but only knew as an avatar picture.
For many of us this is a solitary interest with only fleeting interactions with others who share it. I've been lurking here for as long as it's existed. This thread has made me realise that it's been a while since I've seen a particular picture of Bea Arthur and now I know why. I had no idea that Phoebe Rodriguez, whose short clip of getting green slimed I must have watched hundreds of times, had passed away.
A bit controversial, but Ariel is one I miss a bit. I was planning on setting up a Junko Enoshima cosplay custom when she disappeared from the scene. Unfortunately, I had many bad experiences with wait times and communication...but the payoff was always worth it.
Leila Hazlett is one that I miss a lot too, she did a couple awesome excellent cosplay customs and then disappeared a bit after that. Some of her scenes have been popping back up on UMD recently, but I'm not sure if she's ever planning on coming back with some new content.
That said, if anyone is open for cosplay customs, I got some excellent ideas and would love to start some stuff up again.

I think, like many of the best creators here (such as yourself), Sophie sticks in the mind because she looked like she was having an amazing time in every video she did!
All of Splosh, every bit of Splosh, the models, Bill, all of them Andy from The Ministry of Mess, I never made enough of him being around the corner and prepared to mess me Maria, MyPie, did a couple of online sessions and they were fantastic, miss doing that Lisa and Charlotte from Mostwam, amazing gunge, gunge tanks, even better clothes
I haven't seen hide nor hair of Helloboi in a long time. I first came across his vids on YT, and I think he was here on UMD for awhile. He lived in Hawaii for a bit and posted some excellent mud/gunge material. Hope he's doing well!
And talk about going back years. Does anyone remember PIErre? He produced VHS tapes (yes, that long ago) of clips compiled from US and UK tv shows and films. Introduced me to Noel's House Party, Dick & Dom, and a number of other Brit series. Fortunately I transferred all the tapes I had purchased (about 35 - and they were inexpensive) to CD-RW years ago.
